Lotion Pump Industry knowledge
GreenYard Tools Co.,ltd. is a China lotion pump manufacturer producing controlled-dosage dispensing pumps for skincare, personal care, daily chemical, pharmaceutical-related and food-related packaging. Our Lotion Pump range covers 1.0 ml, 1.5 ml, 2.0 ml, 3.5 ml, 10 ml and 30 ml outputs, with 24-410 and 28-410 neck options and custom closures, dip tubes and locking systems.
We build each pump around the working point: formula viscosity, bottle neck finish, filling line interface and the dose the end user expects. With 16 years in spray and pump manufacturing, mold design, injection molding and automated assembly in house, we support wholesale cosmetic bottle lotion pump projects from sample through repeat production.
Our lotion pump catalogue is organized by dosage, locking style and application so that a project can be matched to an existing model rather than starting from a blank sheet. Standard models cover the common daily chemical formats; customized versions adapt appearance, closure and internal structure to a specific bottle.
| Model | Dosage | Locking / Feature | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| GY-320 | 2.0 ml / 4 ml | Left-right lock, all-plastic, no metal spring or glass ball | Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, hand wash |
| GY-302 | 1.8 ml | Screw-down pop-up lock | Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, liquid soap |
| GY-302L | 1.8 ml | Long nozzle, screw-down lock | Hand sanitizer gel, dishwashing liquid, cleaning and disinfection products |
| GY-303A | 1.3 ml | Left-right lock | Lotion, cleanser, light emulsions |
| GY-306 | 3.5 ml | Big output dispenser | Shampoo, conditioner, thick gels |
| GY-307 / GY-330 | 1.0 ml | Clip cleansing pump; 24-410 all-plastic left-right lock | Facial cleanser, micellar water, low-dose skincare |
| GY-308 / GY-310A | 1.8 ml / 2.0 ml | Steel-material hand wash pump; external spring left-right lock | Hand wash, sanitizer, high-viscosity formulations |
| GY-312 / GY-313 | 10 ml; 10/15/20/25/30 ml | Twist-open syrup pump; large-volume dispenser | Syrup, food-related liquids, large-dose dispensing |
Where a project needs a different format, related dispensing components in our Products range — including Treatment Pump and Foam Pump — can be matched to the same bottle platform.
A lotion pump transfers liquid, gel, cream or emulsion from the container in a measured dose. The actuator, closure, stem, gasket, spring, piston, housing and dip tube work as one assembly, so a change in any part affects dosage, sealing and feel.
Dosage is the first specification we confirm, because it drives both the consumer experience and the cost per use. Our standard outputs run from 1.0 ml for low-dose skincare through 1.8 ml and 2.0 ml for body and hand products to 3.5 ml, 10 ml and 30 ml for large-volume dispensing. Actual output varies with pump structure, formula viscosity and test conditions, so we verify the working point on the real formulation.
Pumps are primarily molded in PP and PE, with material selection following formula compatibility and customer requirements. Sealing structures and material choice are used to reduce leakage and backflow contamination during storage, transport and daily use. For selected high-viscosity or specially formulated products, an external spring configuration can improve compatibility.
Locking style is chosen around how the product travels and how it is used. Left-right lock models such as GY-320 and GY-303A hold the head in a fixed position for shipping and retail; screw-down pop-up locks such as GY-302 and GY-302L release with a twist and lock down again for storage. The long-nozzle GY-302L adds directional dispensing that keeps the bottle body cleaner in hand sanitizer, dishwashing and disinfection applications.
Custom lotion pump manufacture covers appearance, function and material, subject to technical evaluation and mold availability. We develop from drawings or samples supplied by the customer.
GreenYard operates a production base of more than 20,000 m² with 60 injection molding machines and 120 automatic assembly machines, and a daily capacity of one million units. Our ISO 9001 quality management system spans raw materials, production and finished goods, with inspection after each production step and 100% finished-product checks. Automation in key processes reaches 90%, and batch qualification consistently exceeds 99.5%.
Certification relevant to lotion pump projects includes ISO, REACH and FDA, GRS, SMETA social responsibility audit and a food-grade pump head production license. Applicable certification is confirmed against product type, market requirements and order documentation.
Lotion pumps are supplied as components for filling lines, so the interface that matters is the bottle neck finish and the capping head. We confirm neck size, closure type and dip tube length against the bottle drawing before tooling or sampling, which keeps capping torque, sealing and priming consistent on the line. Standard closures are compatible with common capping equipment; where a project uses a specific capping head, we review the closure geometry against it.
For maintenance, the pump is a sealed assembly and is normally replaced rather than repaired. Keeping dip tube length matched to fill volume, storing pumps in the locked position and avoiding over-torque during capping are the practical points that protect dispensing performance over the product's shelf life.
To prepare a configuration and quotation, we work from the following project inputs. Where a detail is not yet fixed, we can propose a starting configuration for sampling.
Body lotion and hand wash typically use 1.8 ml to 2.0 ml per stroke, which is why GY-302 and GY-320 are common choices. Thicker gels and shampoos often move to 3.5 ml or larger. We confirm the final dose on your formulation, since viscosity affects the delivered volume.
Yes. GY-320 is a mono-material all-plastic design with no metal spring and no glass ball, so it can be recycled without disassembly. It is available in 24-410 and 28-410 with left-right locking and smooth, ribbed or aluminium closure options.
We develop and manufacture from drawings or samples you provide. Customization can cover dosage, closure size, actuator style, color, surface finish, dip tube length, locking mechanism and spring structure, subject to technical feasibility and mold availability.
Selected configurations, including external spring designs, are used for high-viscosity and specially formulated products. Because viscosity, temperature and storage conditions affect performance, we recommend compatibility and performance testing before mass production.
Our daily production capacity is one million units, supported by 60 injection molding machines and 120 automatic assembly machines. Actual scheduling depends on product type and order structure, and we confirm it at the quotation stage.
We run an ISO 9001 quality management system from raw materials through finished goods, with inspection after each production step and 100% finished-product checks by a dedicated quality inspection team. Batch qualification consistently exceeds 99.5%.
