Foam Pump Industry knowledge

GreenYard Tools Co.,ltd. is a China-based Foam Pump Supplier and OEM foam pump factory. We design molds, injection-mold components and assemble foam pump heads for hand soap, facial cleanser, sanitizer, shaving cream and skincare formats, with a daily production capacity of one million units.

Foam Pump Range We Manufacture

As a Foam Pump Supplier manufacturer, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.

Our foam pump range covers compact 28mm and 30mm formats built around 30-410 closures, with plastic closures, customizable dip tube lengths and left-right locking options on selected models. Each pump head is developed for surfactant-based liquids that must convert to foam at the point of actuation.

The range sits alongside our wider Products program, which includes crimp pumps, fine mist sprayers, lotion pumps, treatment pumps and droppers for daily chemical and cosmetic packaging lines.

How a Foam Pump Works on Your Line

A foam pump draws liquid through the dip tube, mixes it with air inside the pump chamber and forces the mixture through a mesh screen to create foam at the nozzle. Because the foam structure is created mechanically, the mesh grade, chamber volume and air-to-liquid ratio determine foam density more than the liquid alone.

This is why we confirm the working formulation before fixing a mesh and dosage combination. Thin surfactant liquids, high-viscosity gels and alcohol-based sanitizers each need a different internal balance to deliver stable foam without spitting or dripping.

Critical Specifications We Confirm

  • Dosage: 0.35ml and 0.4ml nominal outputs, quoted with tolerance, matched to the intended dose per use.
  • Closure: 30-410 plastic closure as standard; other neck finishes reviewed against your bottle drawing.
  • Dip tube: cut to the bottle height you specify, with the tube end positioned to draw the last usable volume.
  • Locking: left-right lock available on models such as GY-722C1 to prevent actuation in transit and retail storage.
  • Materials: PP and PE bodies and closures for recyclable, lightweight construction.
  • Nozzle format: standard, long nozzle and brush or flower dispensing heads for different use cases.

Application Fit by Product Type

Foam pumps perform best where a formulation is designed to foam — hand soap, facial cleanser, shaving cream, sanitizer and foaming body wash. For thicker creams and high-viscosity formulas, a Lotion Pump or Treatment Pump is usually the better mechanical match, and we will say so during configuration.

Matching Pump to Package

Product Category Recommended Foam Pump Reason
Hand soap and sanitizer GY-722C1, 0.4ml, left-right lock Higher dose, lock prevents leakage in transit
Facial cleanser and mousse GY-722B1, 0.4ml Controlled dose for delicate skin application
Serum and light lotion GY-721B1, 0.35ml Compact 28mm head for smaller bottles
Body wash and shower gel GY-726A1 long nozzle Reaches into larger bottles, easier dispensing

Configuration Options and Customization

We build foam pumps to your drawing or sample, covering structural design, material selection and process optimization. Custom work typically involves the closure thread, dip tube length, nozzle geometry, surface finish and locking mechanism.

  • Closure and neck: 30-410 standard; alternative threads reviewed against your bottle neck drawing.
  • Dosage: 0.35ml or 0.4ml nominal, with tolerance confirmed at sampling.
  • Dip tube: length cut to your bottle, with tube material selected for the formulation.
  • Nozzle: standard, long nozzle, brush or decorative flower head.
  • Finish: natural, colored or matte finishes on the actuator and collar.
  • Locking: left-right lock or clip lock depending on model and use case.

Where a project needs a complete pack, we also supply PE/PET Bottle formats and closures so the pump, bottle and cap arrive as one matched set.

Quality Control and Acceptance

We operate an ISO 9001 quality management system covering raw materials, production and finished goods. Automation in key processes reaches 90%, and our product batch qualification rate is consistently above 99.5%. Inspection is carried out after each production step, and 100% of finished foam pumps undergo final inspection against client requirements and international standards.

Our quality team includes 20 QC personnel working alongside 5 engineers. Foam pumps are checked for dosage consistency, actuation smoothness, seal integrity and foam structure before release.

Manufacturing Capability Behind the Range

  • 16 years specializing in spray and pump product manufacturing.
  • 60 injection molding machines and 120 automatic assembly machines.
  • Over 160 employees, including 5 engineers and 20 QC staff.
  • Daily production capacity of one million units.
  • In-house mold design, injection molding and automated assembly.
  • Certifications include ISO 9001, REACH, FDA, GRS, SMETA and High-Tech Enterprise status.

Installation, Filling and Line Integration

Foam pumps are supplied as separate components for filling lines or as part of a matched bottle set. The pump is seated onto the bottle neck and torqued to the closure specification; the dip tube must be straight and reach the base of the bottle without curling against the wall.

For automated lines, we confirm the closure diameter, pump height and stacking height so the capping head and feeder rails are set correctly. Where a locking mechanism is fitted, the pump is supplied in the locked position and released after filling.

Information We Use to Configure Your Solution

To prepare an accurate foam pump configuration and quotation, we work from the following project inputs. The more of these you can share, the faster we can confirm the model, dosage and tooling position.

  • Bottle neck finish and closure thread (for example 30-410).
  • Bottle height and dip tube length required.
  • Formulation type, approximate viscosity and surfactant content.
  • Target dose per actuation and acceptable tolerance.
  • Foam texture target — dense and creamy, or quick-expanding.
  • Nozzle preference and any locking requirement.
  • Color, finish and any branding on the actuator or collar.
  • Estimated annual volume and first order quantity.
  • Filling line type and capping method.
  • Destination market and any labeling or compliance needs.

Maintenance, Spare Parts and Serviceability

Foam pumps are consumable dispensing components rather than serviceable assemblies. Wear points are the piston seal, the mesh screen and the spring or valve element, and performance depends on formulation compatibility and storage conditions.

We hold production tooling for our standard models, so repeat orders and replacement batches can be produced against the same specification. For custom projects, we retain the mold and process records so subsequent runs match the approved sample.

Documentation, Packaging and Delivery Scope

Orders are supplied with the agreed specification sheet, approved sample reference and inspection records. Packaging is configured for bulk shipment, with carton counts and pallet arrangements confirmed at order stage.

Delivery scope is agreed per project and may cover pump heads only, pump and bottle sets, or pump, bottle and cap assemblies. Trade terms such as FOB and CIF are confirmed during quotation, and our customer service team responds to inquiries within 12 hours on business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What dosage options do your foam pumps offer?

Our standard foam pump models dispense 0.35ml or 0.4ml per actuation, quoted with a ±0.1ml tolerance. The correct dose depends on the formulation and the intended use — hand soap typically uses the higher dose, while serum and light lotion formats use the lower one.

Can you supply a foam pump matched to our existing bottle?

Yes. We work from your bottle neck drawing or a physical sample. The closure thread, dip tube length and pump height are matched to the bottle so the assembly seats correctly and draws the full usable volume.

Do your foam pumps work with high-viscosity formulas?

Foam pumps are designed for surfactant-based liquids that foam readily. Very thick creams and high-viscosity gels generally dispense better through a lotion pump or treatment pump, and we will recommend the appropriate format for your formulation.

Is a locking mechanism available?

Yes. Models such as GY-722C1 feature a left-right lock that prevents accidental actuation during transport and retail storage. Clip-lock versions are also available on selected models.

What is your production capacity for foam pumps?

Our factory runs 60 injection molding machines and 120 automatic assembly machines with a daily production capacity of one million units, supported by 20 QC personnel and full-process inspection.

Can the foam pump be customized with our branding?

We support custom color, finish and branding on the actuator and collar, and can develop new nozzle or locking designs from your drawing or sample. Customized production is one of our core services.
